He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Shaw and Margaret Shaw; and his brother Patrick Shaw. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Zak (Roman), Michael Shaw, Rita Zak (Rik), David Shaw (Oksana), Bernadette Finzel (Rick), Elizabeth Shaw, Madelaine Wong (James) and Robert Shaw (Robyn). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
