She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenson "Glen" Amos Hicks and Joyce Mary Hicks (Scott); her husband Allan Sannes; her brothers, Ivan Mason, Russell Mason and Harley Hicks; her parents-in-law, Edward Sannes and Alice Sannes; her brother-in-law Jim Sannes; and her son-in-law Frank Ascencao.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy (Jay Gilmore), Milissa (Frank Ascencao) and Jennifer (Kenneth Hanshaw); her grandchildren, Georgia, Samuel, Sabrina and Evalina; and her extended family Chris.
Memorial donations may be made to the SHAID Tree Animal Shelter in Nova Scotia.
