He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Thakkar of Calgary, AB; his sons, David (Kelly) and Michael (Clara); his grandchildren, Paige (Adam), Mya, Joel (Carlynn), Stephen (Annika) and Aidan (Cailey); his great grandchildren, Clay and Lainey; and his sisters, Chandrika (Jayant) and Pushpa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
