With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Celia Sklar of Calgary, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Jack B. Sklar; her parents, Faiga Friedman and Morris Friedman; her siblings, Ida, Toby, Bill and Leo; and her siblings-in-law, Eva Vinet and Norman Martin.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Toba Friedman, Arla Diamond and Beulah Martin.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Beth Tzedec Congregation (1325 Glenmore Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2V4Y8). A burial was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at the Erlton Jewish Cemetery (1325 Glenmore Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2V4Y8).
