Cecilia Amelia Gibson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecilia Amelia Gibson (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Gibson; her parents, Peter Gusikoski and Veronica Gusikoski; her siblings, Tony Gusikoski (Mary), Albert Gusikoski (Mona), Edwin Gusikoski, Evelyne Gusikoski and Tillie Welter; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Welter, Larry Leffler and Bill Stites.
She is survived by: her son Brendan Gibson (Candice); her grandchildren, Jessica Gibson and Zack Gibson (Arianna); her siblings, Iona Stites, Dorothy Hagel (Ray), Eileen Leffler, Leonard Gusikoski (Joyce) and Gordie Gusikoski (Brenda); and her sister-in-law Gloria Gusikoski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 24 St SW, Calgary, AB T2W2Z2).
