It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Elaine Thonger of Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Elaine Thonger to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Donaldson and Dorothy Donaldson. She is survived by: her former husband John Thonger; her children, Khia Burrows and Conrad Thonger; her grandchildren, Michelle Thonger and Braydon Cooper; her brother Wayne; and her sister-in-law Mary Donaldson of Ontario. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Therefore, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a cause which the donor feels would help make the world a better place. Two of the causes she supported were the Alberta Diabetes Foundation and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
