He was predeceased by: his parent Jure (Matija); his siblings, Frano, Jaka and Anica; and his nephew Ante.

He is survived by: his wife Iva Pavić; his children, Tomislav (Angela) and Marija; his grandchildren, Josip and Gabrijela of Calgary, AB.; and his siblings, Mara and Ilija.

A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Marija Bistrica Croatian Catholic Church (14680 Deer Ridge Dr SE, Calgary, AB T2J5Y4). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
