Betty Millar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 81, Betty Millar of Calgary, Alberta, born in Longview, Alberta passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Millar to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to Betty's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Betty has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Worsley and Dorothy Worsley; and her son Lance Millar. She is survived by: her husband George; her grandchildren, David Millar (Janeen, family: Andrew, Emma, Ian, Jason), Colin Millar and Nola Bakas (Kostas, family: Theo, Anna); and her brother Patrick Worsley (Ardyce). She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Pentecostal Church.
