She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Cooney and Marjorie Cooney. She is survived by: her husband Edward Kenneth of Calgary, AB; her son Edward Jr. (Alison) of Calgary; her brothers, Bill (Carrie) and Brian (Linda) of Trenton; and her sister-in-law Linda Watkins (Ian) of Grafton, ON. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
