He was predeceased by: his parents, Salustiano Almonte and Sofia Bayona Almonte; and his brothers, Wilfredo, Rolando (Melba), Wilinito (Concepcion Fedalizo Almonte) and Huberto Almonte (Norma).

He is survived by: his wife Mary (Mimi); his daughter Leah (Dean MacPhail); and his brothers, Honesto (Sonia), Gilberto (Purification) and Roger (Olga). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
