She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cecilia Small (MacKinnon) and Alex Small; her husband Rory MacNeil; her children, Brent MacNeil, Jerelynn MacNeil (Shawn Vokey), Coleen MacNeil (Martin Ethier) and Kate MacNeil (Gasper Barone); and her grandchildren, John Vokey, Kaleigh Vokey, Shawna Vokey, Maria Ethier, Ethan Ethier, Antoine Ethier (Vinny) and Barone. She was also cherished by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or VON Adult Day Program are welcomed.
