Andrew Szakony Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2023, at the age of 83, Andrew Szakony in Calgary, Alberta passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Andrew Szakony to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Nagy and János Szakony; his son Frank; and his brothers, János, József and Ferenc Szakony.
He is survived by: his wife Eve-Marie; his children, Bandi (Lili), Thomas, Laszlo, Christina and Peter; his grandchildren, Viola, Piroska and Levente; his sister Judit Szakony; and his siblings-in-law, Zita Szakony, Adrienne Szojka, Vali Duska, Emese Nikli, Lorand Szojka, Dr. Leslie Duska and Gustav Nikli. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
After retirement, he attended daily Mass until hindered by Covid 19.
