He was predeceased by: his wife Luisa Rino; his son-in-law Scott Allan; his parents, Luigi D'Alfonso and Maria D'Alfonso; and also, Antonio and Maria Rino.

He is survived by: his children, Maria Rizzuti (Guido), Silvia Allan and Anthony D'Alfonso (Nancy); his grandchildren, Franco (Lauren), Brianna Rizzuti (Frankie), Alessia (Benjamin), Katia Allan, Arianna and Tristan D'Alfonso; and his sister-in-law Brunina DiLello of Calgary. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
