She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Susie; her child Georgie; and her grandson Irwin. She is survived by: her son Daniel (Rosemary); her husband David Boschmann of Calgary, AB; and her brother Daniel.

The two then moved to the Masterpiece retirement facility in Medicine Hat, AB, in 2019, just in time to be locked down there for nearly a year during COVID.
