The passing of Alexander Shklanka in Calgary, Alberta, born in Mayfair, Saskatchewan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Adele Shklanka (Hagel); and his sisters, Nettie Kawulka and Natalie Chimiuk. He is survived by: his brother Mike; and his sons, Mark (Marina), Dave and Don (Zoe). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (1305 Main St S, Airdrie, AB T4B1C5). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
