With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola Esther Schaffer of Brooks, Alberta, born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, who passed away on July 21, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Schaffer; her daughter Evelyn; her son-in-law Herb; and her great grandchild Justin. She is survived by: her children, Jonathan, Jared, Stuart, Austin and Glen Philpott (Carol); her grandchildren, Nicole and Jeremy; her daughter Rhonda McCaig (Colin); her grandchildren, Megan, Ashley and Cody; her daughters, Kathryn Philpott, Jessica Philpott, Sharon Hill, Michelle Curry (Nat) and Andrea Vestby (Chad); her grandchildren, Timothy, Amos, Hyram, Ethan, Chloe and Janiece; her children, Harvey Schaffer (Val), Shelly Schaffer and Cindy Schaffer (Kevin); her grandchildren, Shineese, Shaycee and Talon; her son Scott Schaffer (DoniRae); her grandchildren, Rylan and Braelynn; her children, Jan Wetteskind and Kari Smit (Craig); her grandchildren, Nathan and Janelle; her son Kevin Wetteskind (Tricia); her grandchildren, Damon and Aleece; and her great great grandchildren, Taggart and Ella.
