He is survived by: his children, Gord, Doug and Carol; his wife Eleanor Simpson; his sisters, Andrea Suffidy (George) of Ottawa, Karen Frey of Banff and Alberta; his son Gordon Simpson (Cindy) of Port Alberni; his grandchildren, Jennifer Simpson, Bradley Day (Breanne) and Ashley Fisher (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Logan Fisher, Zachery Day and Bennett Day.
