He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Mary Smith; his brother Ronny; his parents-in-law, Jim and Vera Perry; and his siblings-in-law, Al Holden, Nephi Holden, Jack Hobson and Gwen Hobson (Zelma).

He is survived by: his wife Zelma Holden; his children, Barry (Patsy), Glenn (Helen), Clifford (Dianna), Cody (Tammy), Carl (Lisa) and Sandra (Clint); his grandchildren, Dean, Raemona, Naomi, Garrett, Carson, Jennie, Blake, Rachelle, Ethan, Kelsey, Nolan, Will and Lisa; his brothers, Robert Smith (Arlene) and Kelly Smith (Raffaella); and his siblings-in-law, Art Perry (Janice), Scott Perry (Debbie), Susan MacRae (Craig) and Jean Holden.

Due to the world wide pandemic that has changed everything, there will be a private family ceremony held on Tuesday, April 21st at 2:00 PM from Smith Memorial Chapel.
