She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Moffat (Stewart) and David "Sheldon" Moffat; her siblings, William Moffat and Dawn Finnie; and her niece Janice Finnie.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Bryanne and Lyndsey; her husband Rudolph Peltzer; and her son David Peltzer (Kathlyn).
