He was predeceased by: his father James Stanley Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Krista Phelps; his children, Megan Marguerite Jesse (Dalton) of Medicine Hat, Robyn Nicole Phelps of Medicine Hat and James Roy Celso Phelps; his grandchildren, Amelia and Blake; his mother Jean Mary Phelps; his brother Roy Phelps (Coral) of Kelowna, BC; and his nieces and nephews, Cody Brian Freele, Nicholette Adrienne Freele and Tyler James Freele.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage INN Hotel & Convention Centre (1217 2 St W, Brooks, AB T1R1P7).
