Erwin Standar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2021, at the age of 95, Erwin Standar of Brooks, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Standar and Paul Standar; his wife Adina; his sister Hildegard Wagner; his brothers-in-law, Werner Wagner and Ben Edel; and his brother Manfred Standar.
He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Van Oene (Ron) of Didsbury and Paul Standar (Donna) of Eckville; his grandchildren, Jessica Nguyen (Cuong) of Cypress, Jordan Green (Melissa) of Redcliff, AB, James Standar (Sydney) of Sooke, B. C. and Nathan Green (Maritess) of Brooks, AB; and his sisters-in-law, Frida Semrau and Freda Edel. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
When Covid restrictions are lifted, a celebration of his life will be held.
