It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Althea Wester (Brooks, Alberta), who passed away on March 28, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schaffer and Annie Schaffer; her daughter Debbie; and her siblings, Edna, Maggie, John, Frank, Charles, Mary, Alfred, Annie and Ira "Bill".

She is survived by: her son Daniel Wester (Linda); her grandson Greg (Cabrinie); her great grandchildren, Octavia, Aurelia and Evander; her grandson Dale (Jody); her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Reid; her son David Wester (Susan); her grandson Andrew (Andria); her great grandchild Matthew; her grandson Bradley (Anita); her great grandchildren, Michaela and Hailey; her grandson Christopher (Vanessa); her great grandchildren, Nadia and Gunnar; her granddaughter Laura Froese (Darryl); her great grandchildren, Hanzel, James, William, Erik, Stanley and Gustav; her granddaughter Melissa; her daughter Tammy Beutel (Gary); her granddaughter Kimberley Findlay (Ben); her great grandchildren, Ada and Harper; and her grandchildren, Ryan Beutel and Brittany Herak (Daniel).
