Allan Larry Lavallee Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Allan Larry Lavallee on April 17th, 2024, in Brooks, Alberta, surrounded by his family. Al was born on April 25th, 1966, in Bengough, Saskatchewan to Larry and Elaine Lavallee. He was welcomed into the world by his big sister Gisele, and a few years later was joined by his little brother Vincent. Al was the light of the Lavallee family. In 1989, he took a position at Lakeside Packers in Brooks, where he worked for over 20 years and in his later years, he took a position at UFA Farm & Ranch Supply in Brooks. Through both of these positions, he made lifelong friends, who were with him until his last days. He was blessed with three daughters: Kristina, Stephanie, and Jaylee. His girls were bright spots in his life and forever etched in his legacy. He bravely fought his cancer diagnosis. He was strong and resilient until his very last treatment. He was fortunate to have his friends and family throughout his cancer journey. He was blessed with the continuous care and watchfulness of his sister-in-law Jocelyne. He is predeceased by his grandparents Julien and Patricia Piche, and George and Marie-Reine Lavallee. He is survived by parents, Larry and Elaine Lavallee; three daughters, Kristina (Cody) Wakeford, Stephanie Lavallee, and Jaylee Lavallee and grandchildren Bates and Priscilla Wakeford; siblings, Gisele (Ron) LaCoste and Vincent (Jocelyne Svensson) Lavallee, niece Shannon and nephews Justin and Nate, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews. Al was passionate and above all else, kind. He worked hard and played hard. Al's love and commitment will be a source of strength and inspiration. He will live on through the great memories and years of laughs and smiles. A Celebration of Life for Allan Lavallee will be held at home, in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan at a later date.

Cremation entrusted to and conducted at Smith Funeral Home Ltd. and Crematorium, Brooks.
