He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Adair and William Adair; his son Sammy Adair; his grandson Robin Adair; his great grandchild Helen "Tonie" Adair; and his sister Hazel (Ken Plunkie).
He is survived by: his wife Tessie; his children, Dan Adair, Kathy Lee (Lorne) and Linda Williams (Bob); and his grandchildren, Melissa Leslie (Grant), Daniel Adair (Desiree), Jamie Adair (Glenda), Georgina Lee (Jason Johannesson), Jennifer Biette, Rachel Skinner (Cordell), Micheal Williams (Nadine), Michelle Antle (Conrad) and Robert Williams (Nicole Franks). He is also survived by 40 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
