Richard Robert Lafreniere Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2025, at the age of 54, Richard Robert Lafreniere of Bowden, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his father Valori Lafreniere. He is survived by: his mother Cecile Lafreniere of Sudbury; his pets, Chloe and Sylvester; the mothers of children, Vanessa Brown of Bowden and Alberta; his children, Logan Lafreniere (Yssabelle Timbol) of Edmonton and Rikki-Leigh Lafreniere (William Seaholm) of Bowden; his nieces, Melodie Mallais of Ottawa and Jamie Lee Mallais of Marathon; his sisters, Lise and Brigitte Lafreniere; and also Ashton Chislette.
