Alan William Hyland Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan William Hyland of Bow Island, Alberta, born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ron Hyland and Doris Hyland; and his brothers, Colin and Derek Hyland. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hyland; his children, Colin Hyland, Kevin Hyland and Kyle Hyland (Sheena); his grandchildren, Burke, Samuel, Weston, Parke and Madeleine; his siblings, David Hyland (Linda), Robin Hyland, Judy Knapik (Vern) and Liz Hyland (Will Burton); and his sister-in-law Ann Hyland. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.

For his last campaign, Alan has asked if you wish to make any donations they can be made to the Bow Island and District Health Foundation (P.O. Bag 3990, Bow Island, AB T0K 0G0) to help refurbish the Sun Room in the extended care.
