Violet Mary Hansen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Mary Hansen of Bonnyville, Alberta, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Donald Hansen; her husband Bud Hourd; her parents, John Newman and Florence Newman; her siblings, Maisie Graves, Judy Pike, Ray Newman, Eric Newman, Fred Newman and Mary Flemming; and her grandson-in-law Kevin Christensen.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Hansen (Sharon Tollefson) of Cold Lake, AB, Debra Ozero (David) of Bonnyville, AB and Deanna Pye (Ivan) of Nanaimo, BC; her grandchildren, John Hansen (Misook), Diana Christensen, Dawn Marie Perepelitza (Peter), Ron Hansen, Christine Parent (Bernie), Clayton Ozero (Jill Provencal), Pamela Caouette (Dan), Coral Littlejohn (Kev Cyr), Amy Perlman Pye (Seth), Christian Pye (Jenna), Andrew Pye (Sandra Hendersen) and Sean Pye; her great grandchildren, Jonah, Jay, Justin, Jacob, Korben, Jessica, Ethan, Duncan, Lily, Robbee, Oscar, River, Liam, Cash, Lachlan, Jovan, Esmond, Evy, Beatrix and Odin; and her siblings, Lonnie Pike and Shirley Foskett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
