He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Pigeon; and his parents, Charles Pigeon and Margaret Pigeon. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Bill Bird (Tamara) of Bonnyville; his nieces and nephews, Tyler Bird of Bonnyville, Mackenzie Stover (Colton) of Bonnyville, Jordan Bird of Bonnyville and Hailey Bird (Clay) of Cardston, Alberta; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hudson, Keziah and Emery Stover.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memento Funeral Chapel (5201 Lakeshore Dr, Bonnyville, AB T9N1X7).
Memorial tributes in memory of Roy may be sent to a Charity of One's Choice.
