It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Marie Baik of Bonnyville, Alberta, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Baik; her son Richard Baik; her parents, Narcisse Dery and Cordelia Dery; and her siblings, Emile Dery, Helena Zeleny, Lucille King and Marguerite Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Rusnak (Ron) of Bonnyville, Daniel Baik (Angie) of St. Albert, Ronald Baik (Laurel) of Spruce Grove, JoAnne Baik of Bonnyville and Janet Baik (Clayton Mosier) of Edmonton; her daughter-in-law Carol Corneau of Manitoulin Island, ON; her grandchildren, Danielle Middagh (Ryley), Jillian Rusnak, Brandon Baik (Annika Vidad-Baik) and Anthony Baik (Athena Fedorus); her great grandchild Kayci Middagh; and her sisters, Therese Robbins (Bill) of Edmonton and Lorraine Chyz (Walter) of Bonnyville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
