He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Karasiuk and Matrona Karasiuk; his siblings, John Karasiuk, Steve Karasiuk, Stanley Karasiuk and Joanne Blomquist; his siblings-in-law, Marvin Blomquist and Dorothy Karasiuk; his nephew Russell Karasiuk; and his niece Alicia Karasiuk.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie Karasiuk of Bonnyville, AB; his son James Karasiuk (Karen) of Bonnyville, AB; his granddaughters, Samantha Karasiuk (Tim Symon) of LaCorey, AB and Jessica Karasiuk (Matthew Choquette) of Ardmore, AB; his great grandchildren, Anja, Liam and Emma Symon; and his brothers, Harry Karasiuk (Maria) of Edmonton, AB and Fred Karasiuk (Carol) of Edmonton, AB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
