He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Piec and Josephine Mazurek (Pete); and his sister Rose Schule. He is survived by: his sons, Paul Piec (Renee), Mark Piec (Brenda) and Steven Piec; his grandchildren, Lewis, Trace, Dakota, Vianne, Alix and Scott; and his sister Helen Hrycan. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
