He is survived by: his children, Louise Lavoie (Roger) of Fort Kent, AB, Suzanne Olsen of Edmonton, AB, Leo Dery (Tina) of Vermilion, AB, Rene Dery (Christina) of Grande Prairie, AB and Roger Dery (Lori) of Grande Prairie, AB; his grandchildren, Luc, Dominic, Amanda, Robert, Jean-Luc, Jaydin, Annamae and Noah; his great grandchildren, Avery, Kacey, Riley, Saige, Ember, Lily and Maggie; and his sisters, Marie-Claire Rondeau and Louise Lessard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
