He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shalka and Katie Shalka; and his sister Frances Shalka. He is survived by: his sister Eileen Leeds (John); his nieces, Diane Orr (Rod) and Brenda Leeds Binder (Bob); his nephew Michael Leeds (Leanne); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack, Hudson, Josie Binder, Eric, Kate Leeds and Everett Orr.
