He was predeceased by: his wife Cora Makaruk; his brothers, Ignacy (Lena), Frank (Lena), Stanley (Adele), Charlie and Albin (Eva); and his parents, Sylvester Makaruk and Stanaslawia Makaruk.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Doris Makaruk of Edmonton and Don Sinclair (Louise) of Ardmore. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
