With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Tanasiuk of Bonnyville, Alberta, who passed away on August 28, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Metro; her parents, Nicholas Hackman and Rose Hackman; her siblings, Mac Hackman (Olga), Victoria Lupaschuk (Leo) and Eva Ostapowich (Peter); her brothers-in-law, Steve Olinek and Victor Melenka; her great grandchild Nixon Sales; and her parents-in-law, George and Domka Tanasiuk.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Woycenko (Roy), Michael Tanasiuk, Lorrie Sales (Calvin) and Grace Lapointe (Louis); her grandchildren, Crystal Strzepek (Terence), Bradley Woycenko (Venessa), Troy Sales, Cathy Woycenko, Ryan Sales (Avery), Terence Sales (Lisa), Cheryl Woycenko (Andy Kazakoff), Derek Sales, Devon Sales (Jayelle), Samantha Lapointe and Caitlyn Low (Josh); her great grandchildren, Lyric, Axyanna, Colton Strzepek, Alandra Woycenko, Sadie, Asher Sales, Lincoln Low, Kip Sales, Cadence Whalen, Kaleb Bayard and Jaxon Kazakoff; and her siblings, George Hackman (Adeline), Mary Olinek, Pearl Melenka and Joan Lopatka (Val).
