She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Matichuk; her son Kenneth Matichuk; her parents, Alex Hochachka and Pearl Hochachka; and her brothers, Mike Hochachka and Paul Hochachka.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Matichuk (Donna) of Honolulu, HI, John Matichuk of Bonnyville, AB, Gerald Matichuk (Hazel) of Lacombe, AB, Bob Matichuk (Suzanne) of Blaine, WA and Marge Allen (Gerry) of Blaine, WA; her grandchildren, Roma Hart (Tom), James Jr. Matichuk (Sarah), Sarah Brown, Aretha Ryan, Jennifer Allen, Jason Matichuk, Amanda Denys (Brad), Jocelyn Melbourne (Chris), Nicole Matichuk and Michael Matichuk; her great grandchildren, Cassie, Natalie, Ember, Iona, James, Benny, Olivia, Ethan, Camille, Alaina, Zoey, Sydnie and Owen; her siblings, Louis Hochachka and Mary Sherstan; her siblings-in-law, Mary Fersovitch and Nick Matichuk (Eileen); and also Requita Pimental. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
