Elsie Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 104, Elsie Smith (Bonnyville, Alberta) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elsie Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Charles Smith (Dick); her parents, Philip Hartl and Maria Hartl; her siblings, Albert, Rudy (Bea) and Edna Hornett (Jim); and her brother-in-law Al Kenny.
She is survived by: her daughters, Faye Keating (Harold) of Regina, Elda Thackeray (Don) of Bonnyville and Ina Smith of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Rick Keating (Dawn), Kenda Power (Doug), Kari Reid (Malcolm), Jeff Thackeray (Teresa), Karla Foisy (Andre), Kelly Fowler (Adam) and Allison Wurzer (Mike); her great grandchildren, Erin (Mellissa), Erica (Bri), Nathan, Sam, Sean, Liam, Roan, Sydney (Thomas), Scott, Taylor, MacKena, Christian, Burke, Declan, Lauren, Nolan and Reese; her great great grandchildren, Tegan and Finley; her sister Bertha Kenny; and her sister-in-law Mary Hartl. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:15 AM and at 10:30 AM at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church (5027 49 Ave, Bonnyville, AB T9N2P8).
