He is survived by: his children, Jodi Friesen (Jaret) of Bonnyville, AB and Blair Crosbie of Drayton Valley, AB; his grandchildren, Jayden Friesen, Caysie Crosbie and Carson Crosbie; and his siblings, Barry Middagh of Bonnyville, AB, Gail Middagh (George Blain) of Bonnyville, AB, Ron Middagh (Bridgette) of Wisconsin, USA and Randy Middagh (Patsy) of Bonnyville, AB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in memory of Douglas may be sent to a Charity of One's Choice.
