She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert; her son Virgil; her foster sons, Eugene and Harry; her parents, Charles and Rose; her siblings, Tom (Elizabeth), Harold (Edna) and Freda (Lawrence); and her siblings-in-law, Art, Jacquie and Eleanor (Leonard).

She is survived by: her children, Virginia Knitter (Wilf), Viola Oskoboiny (Danny), Vivian York and Vernon Swaren (Alex); her foster sons, Harold Paul and Sam Paul (Coral); her children, Trent and Kyra; her grandchildren, Jeff, Jennifer (Rob), Amy, Ali, Abi (Dallas), Ana, Aury, Courtney, Brady, Brandy, Sarah and Blake; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Mackenzie, Jacob, Cody, Hilaire, Madeline and Emma-Jane; and her siblings, Jim and Phyllis. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
