He was predeceased by: his parents, Helma Sharp and Fred Sharp; his son Derek Sharp; and his siblings, Bill Sharp and Rose Fox.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sharp of Blairmore, AB; his children, Courtney Ainsworth, Kelly Halberg (Jason) and Monica Sharp; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Ben, Seth, Tailor, Rilee and Skyler. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
