She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dobek and Ethel Dobek. She is survived by: her children, Janet Paulsen and Jillian Paulsen (Jeff Paulsen) of Calgary, AB.; and her siblings, Elaine Shandro (Con), Ray Dobek (Holly), Kelly Dobek, Karen Dobek, Brian Dobek (Nicky), Gerard Dobek (Susan), Charlotte Boychuk (Greg), Basil Dobek (Bridget) and Claudia Domingo (Prem). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given in Jo-Anne's memory to "Little Warriors" (https: //littlewarriors.ca) "Be Brave Ranch" Sherwood Park, AB.
