She was predeceased by: her parents, Gunnar Beckman and Ida Beckman; her stepfather Bob Scales; her children, Mary Petras, Shareen LaPrete and Richard Petras; and her grandson Kevin LaPrete.

She is survived by: her husband Frank Petras; her daughter Charlene Barrett (Kevin) of Blairmore; her grandchildren, Shauna Arsenault (Shannon), Jodie Fortin (Harvey), Jason Sharp (Mandy) and Amanda Byers; her great grandchildren, Cole Baker (Shawna), Tyler Baker, Brandy, Kayley Fortin, Ricky, Chase LaPrete, Dalton and Kiana Huehn; her great great grandchild Quinn Baker; and her sister Nola Sedrovic. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
