He was predeceased by: his spouse Della-Rae Shupenia; and his grandparents, Bill, Helma Sharp of Vulcan, AB, Boyd and Evelyn Chesney of Wildwood.

He is survived by: his parents, John Sharp and Dorothy Sharp; his sons, Jordan, Ben and Seth; and his sisters, Monica Sharp of Coleman, AB, Kelly Ainsworth of Lacombe, AB and Courtney Ainsworth Howell of Calgary, AB.
