It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cornelis Pieter Vander Linden (Blairmore, Alberta), who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jannigje Linden and Pieter van der Linden; his grandson Devon Jackson; his brothers, Arie and John van der Linden; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Arie), Teunisje "Teurne", Elaine (Art) and Donna (Henry); and his niece Debra Sauer.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Vander Linden; his children, Robert "Bob" Vander Linden (Lori) of San Diego, CA, Donald "Don" Vander Linden of Calgary, AB and Rhonda Jackson (Bruce) of Blairmore, AB; his grandchildren, Brad, Courtney, Lindsay, Brittney, Riley, Blake (Don), Brayden and Raegan; his great grandchildren, Jack (Raegan), Maxwell, Kai and Nakoa; his siblings, Art van der Linden of Coaldale, AB, Peter van der Linden (Willy) of Coaldale, AB, Henry "Hank" van der Linden of Lethbridge, AB and Mya Suchar (Bill) of Hillcrest, AB; his sister-in-law Mel van der Linden of Lethbridge, AB; and his cousin Thea Velting of Coaldale, AB. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
