Albert Poxton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Poxton (Blairmore, Alberta), who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Poxton Sr. and Janka Gorup; and his siblings, Roy, Eleanor and Irene.

He is survived by: his wife Marion Poxton of Bellevue, AB; his daughters, Deanna Baillie (Michael Doucette) of Blairmore, AB and Karen Poxton of Hillcrest Mines, AB; his granddaughter Katelyn Snow; and his siblings, Walter Poxton of Coleman, AB, Gloria Brown of Edmonton, AB and Jean Waldner of Hillcrest Mines, AB. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Crowsnest Pass Food Bank (PO Box 675 Blairmore, AB T0K 0E0).
