It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Douglas Smith of Black Diamond, Alberta, born in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Yvonne. He is survived by: his sons, Curtis (Kristy) of Cayley and Brett (Jordan) of Red Deer, Four; his grandchildren, Frankee, Kale, Shaw and Sullivan; and his brothers, Ron of Nanton, Rob (Cindy) of Black Diamond and Darrin McKelvie (Lisa). He is also survived by his best friends and brother.
