Madeline Hamel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madeline Hamel of Black Diamond, Alberta, who passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Jean Mathew; her husband Armand; her grandson James Warren; her parents, Mary Smith and Charley Smith; and her siblings, Tom Smith, Theresa Downey and Ethel Briggs.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Hoover (Stephen) of Delia, Brother Antoine (Little Brothers of the Sacred Heart) of France, Karen Hamel of Black Diamond, Joseph Hamel of Hawaii and Pauline Warren (Wayne) of Calgary; her grandchildren, Tanya Mack (Scott) of Nanaimo, B. C., Armand Hoover (Jessica) of Parkland County, Lindsey Hoover of Lethbridge, Lisa Duncan of Denver, CO., Elaine Huba of Calgary and Nathanael Hamel of Ontario; and her great grandchildren, Julianne, Spencer, Trevor, Evelyn, Addison, Kaiya, Lincoln, Charli, Trey, Walker and Camella.
