It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl William Sanders (Bittern Lake, Alberta), who passed away on May 25, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Vera; his parents, Julius and Ludella; and his son-in-law John Davison. He is survived by: his children, Debra Davison of Camrose and Darryl Sanders (Theresa) of Bittern Lake; and his sister Gwen Scott of Camrose. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Carl's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the Cross Cancer Institute.

Our times, spent with you all at the farm were always so happy and enjoyable and a huge part of that was due to how welcome we were by carl and vera. The farm tours, the games we played and the glorious food will never be forgotten! My thoughts and love are with you all. Love, faye and the macdonald family”
