He was predeceased by: his sons, Rick and Ron; his former wife Jean; and his siblings, Gloria, Betty Ann and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Alf (Shelley), Shelley and Roger (Shibanee); and his brother Bill (Eileen). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Al's name to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
