It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olaf Peter Hegland (Beaverlodge, Alberta), who passed away on April 19, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Hegland and Maria Hegland; and his siblings, Annie Hemerle, Margaret Johnson, Hilda Cox, Mable Kimmerly, Clifford and George.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Farnsworth; his son David Hegland (Janet); his grandchildren, Michael Hegland (Laura) and Gayle Martin (Michael); his son Ivan Hegland (Sadie); his granddaughter Tatum Doris (Nathan); his daughter Marie Fletcher (Don); his grandchildren, Mark Fletcher (Brenda), Boyd Fletcher (Esther), Robin Fletcher (Shannon) and April Smith (Matt); his son Mervin Hegland (Joan); and his grandchildren, Sarah White (Travis), Amy Nelson (Shaun) and Andrew Hegland (Crystal). He is also survived by numerous relatives, neighbours and friends.
